Hi Kristin,
So, here’s how I’m doing now, a few months after my coaching call with you:
After holiday craziness, and some more employee difficulties, I’m hesitantly optimistic that things are on the up swing.
I have implemented the tactics you, Kristin, suggested to me during our recording. I am checking in with my employees weekly on how they’re doing, both personally and with the work. That seems to have helped us connect and I get a better sense of who they are and what they’re dealing with so I can accommodate. I am also taking time for myself away from my phone and teaching them slowly how to self-manage more so I can be away from my phone, and breathe through the really hard, inevitable situations that arise by understanding that they are bound to happen in this business, and it’s nothing I can’t handle. I lead with curiosity, which has also helped me run this as a business and not take issues personally. Thank you so much for your help, and I hope it helps others, too!
Thank you again for this opportunity, Kristin! It was so fun and valuable, and I felt comfortable with you immediately. I hope to talk to you again soon.”
